Dr. Scott Patten MD, FRCP(C), PhD

Scott Patten obtained a medical doctorate (MD) from the University of Alberta (Edmonton, Canada) in 1986, a specialist certification (FRCPC) in Psychiatry in 1991, and PhD in epidemiology at the University of Calgary in 1994. Clinically, he works with consultation-liaison psychiatry and the Peter Lougheed Centre and with the Mood Disorders Program at the Foothills Medical Centre. Academically, he is a Professor in the Cumming School of Medicine at the University of Calgary. He has published over 500 papers. He is the current Editor-in-Chief of the Canadian Journal of Psychiatry.
